With the FPGBC Kit you can build your own Game Boy Color - without any original hardware! This is made possible by the integrated FPGA chip, which offers extremely accurate hardware emulation and therefore comes very close to the original hardware. In addition, the FPGBC has been enhanced with numerous features - IPS LCD screen, amplifier, speaker, overclocking, USB-C and much more!

Tips

• The firmware of the FPGBC can be updated via USB-C, the latest firmware can be found here: https://github.com/makhowastaken/GWGBC_FW/tree/main
• The PCB is version v1.1, the firmware must be updated accordingly for this revision
• NO original GBC donor console is required for the installation!
• The maximum clock frequency is 1.25 times the OEM CPU - to achieve the most accurate speed possible, we recommend 2 steps below maximum
