The V5+ IPS kit from Hispeedido is the new LCD upgrade for your Game Boy Advance, offering vibrant colours, high contrast and a bright display. Thanks to the IPS LCD, the image remains consistent across viewing angles, giving your retro console a modern look. The glass lens is factory-assembled, enabling a quick and dust-free installation. The V5+ kit combines the screen lens, LCD and LCD controller into a single unit, which significantly simplifies installation. As it is controlled via touch sensors, installation is possible even without any soldering skills.

Tips

• The kit can be installed without soldering; the integrated touch sensors can be used for control. However, to use the on-screen display (OSD), the 3 wires supplied must be soldered.
• The V5+ IPS kit is fully compatible with RetroSix shells. For Hispeedido shells, please use the classic V5 variants: Hispeedido V5 IPS kit
• The difference compared to the classic version lies in the slightly thicker separator layer. RetroSix shells have slightly thicker walls, which means the classic version gets damaged during installation. This problem has been resolved with the Plus version.
