The V5 IPS kit from Hispeedido is a drop-in kit compatible with all shell models. No modifications are required: simply insert, connect, and you’re done. Using the OSD menu, you can activate various screen effects such as Normal, Retro Pixel, Scanline 1 and Scanline 2, as well as adjust the brightness and colours. There are 15 different brightness levels and 8 colour modes to configure. With Frame Blending On/Off, you can decide for yourself whether frames should be blended or not (necessary in some games to achieve the best result). Additionally, touch sensors are included, allowing you to control the IPS kit without any soldering. A soldered connection is required for the OSD.

Tips

• The kit is compatible with any shell
• To use the OSD, the supplied wire must be soldered (see instructions)

Control

• Long press on the left touch sensor: the display cycles through the available colour palettes
• Tap the right touch sensor: brightness control

With soldered connection

• Short press on the brightness button: brightness control
• Press and hold the brightness button (5 seconds): Activates the OSD
• In the OSD: a long press on the button activates the menu item; a short press configures the current option
