Tips
- The kit comes without , this must be soldered.
- The LCD is 11% larger than the OEM display. The RetroPixel Q5 kit can still be used with OEM shells and - a small part of the visible image is covered by the shell and the display pane. However, as the DMG-01 displays a frame around the visible image, the image coverage is only minimal.
- To achieve an optimal result, the viewing window of the shell must be enlarged by approx. 2mm on each side and special must be used.

ATTENTION: The Display must be tested BEFORE installation! Before you install the LCD kit, you first need to test it (dry run). It is important that the LCD is tested outside the shell BEFORE installation so that damage caused by the installation can be ruled out. Likewise, no adhesives must have been applied, LCD frames used or soldering work carried out. The LCD is very fragile and can be destroyed by even slight pressure. Complaints about kits that have already been installed will unfortunately have to be rejected without exception!
