With the installation of IPS mods, audio mods and other power-hungry modifications, the original voltage regulator of the GBC is often overloaded and fails sporadically or switches off completely due to the increased current consumption. The CleanPower from RetroSix was specially developed for the GBC and solves these problems by providing a stable and efficient 5V voltage.
