Tips
- The IPS Kit can be installed without soldering, the control of basic functions is done by the two touch sensors (brightness, color palette, scanline effect, battery icon)
- In order to use the OSD menu with extended control functions, it is necessary to solder 3 cables
- Extensive modifications are required for installation in original housings and non-IPS housings, see instructions
- IPS Ready housings can be used without modifications
- Since the LCD offers a larger viewing area than the original GBC LCD, correspondingly larger display panes are required. Original panes would obscure the image by a few mm on each side.
- To use the logo illumination, the housing must be modified accordingly or a transparent housing must be used. Furthermore, it is necessary to use a display glass with transparent artwork
Touch control
- Left sensor short press: color palette
- Left sensor long press: Pixel effects
- Right sensor short press: Brightness
- Right sensor long press: Battery display active/inactive
OSD control
- Hold Select and A + B activates the OSD menu
- A and B scrolls through the lists
- Select + A activates current option
- Select + A saves the selection
- Press and hold Select + B to close the OSD menu.

The mod / installation requires basic technical knowledge and appropriate tools. If you need help with that, feel free to contact us!
ATTENTION: The Display must be tested BEFORE installation! Before you install the LCD kit, you first need to test it (dry run). It is important that the LCD is tested outside the shell BEFORE installation so that damage caused by the installation can be ruled out. Likewise, no adhesives must have been applied, LCD frames used or soldering work carried out. The LCD is very fragile and can be destroyed by even slight pressure. Complaints about kits that have already been installed will unfortunately have to be rejected without exception!
