Tips

• The IPS Kit can be installed without soldering; basic functions are controlled via the two touch sensors (brightness, color palette, scanline effect, battery icon)
• To use the OSD menu with advanced control functions, you’ll need to solder 3 cables
• Extensive modifications are required for installation in the original shell and non-IPS shell; see the instructions
• IPS-ready shells can be used without modifications
• Since the LCD offers a larger viewing area than the original GBC LCD, correspondingly larger screen lenses are required. Original lenses would obscure the image by a few millimeters on each side.
• To use the logo backlight, the shell must be modified accordingly or a clear shell must be used.

Touch Control

• Left sensor—short press: Color palette
• Left sensor (long press): Pixel effects
• Right sensor, short press: Brightness
• Right sensor, long press: Battery indicator on/off

OSD Controls

• Hold down Select and press A + B to activate the OSD menu
• A and B scroll through the lists
• Select + A selects the current option
• Select + A saves the selection
• Hold down Select + B to close the OSD menu
