The RetroSix CleanJuice USB-C Power Board for Sega Game Gear completely replaces the console’s outdated original power board. It upgrades your classic handheld to a modern, highly efficient power supply and adds a built-in USB-C charging function for the NiMH rechargeable batteries inside the device, without requiring you to remove the batteries for charging or cut into the shell. Tips

• If you’re still using the original SEGA LCD screen, make sure the small selector switch on the right side of the CleanJuice board is slid to the left to activate the required 34V voltage. For VA4 and VA5 console boards, depending on the revision, the connector may need to be trimmed slightly.
• The board is powered by standard AA batteries or rechargeable AA NiMH batteries in the battery compartment.
